Opportunity is everywhere

Alexander Graham Bell, the inventor of the telephone once said - "When one door closes, another opens, but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us."

This is true for many people they are walking about with the eyes closed, unaware of the opportunities around them.  Many people don’t seek out opportunities where they can shine or can demonstrate what it is they have to offer, instead they choose to sit and wait for opportunities to come to them. 

For many, they will have a long wait, and become very disappointed.  Many opportunities come disguised as hard work, and can often be found in the middle of a problem or crisis.  Quite often the universe presents us with a negative or awkward situation hiding an opportunity for growth.  

Last but not least, did you know that when written in Chinese, the word "crisis" is composed of two characters-one represents danger, and the other represents opportunity?

 

Do you use “Google trends” or the “Google Keyword Tool” to spot new opportunities in your niche? What about what’s trending on twitter?
