I regularly purchase items on eBay and Amazon and am sometimes amazed at the complete lack of any Customer service.   One company I bought a box of 12 items from sent me the wrong thing at the second attempt  this was after losing the first delivery.  I complained about it and they sent the wrong thing again.  They then messed me about until I could not leave feedback and promptly ignored me.   Great Customer Service.

Communication is a dirty word

I used to sit opposite this person who would send me emails constantly.  They were a really nice person great to get on with.  The reason for the emails was to cover their back.  As soon as something went wrong there would be an email appear that stated the time and date that the email had arrived informing me about this issue.
